American engineering at its best " vintage & muscle cars"

My name is Jeff Suggs owner and operator of Paint Overspray Removal of Texas International Services.  I specialize in the removal of industrial paint overspray and auto paint restoration.  I have over 23 years of hands on experience in overspray removal, claims management and auto paint repair.  I have repaired thousands of vehicles in the past two decades. This blog is about repairing old school rides from paint overspray. The vehicles in the photos and the videos linked below are part of two separate claims that I managed. One group of 250 vehicles are owned by a private customer that keeps them stored in an unknown to the public very large building.  There was some construction going on to the building next door and one of the care takers of the vehicles left several of the bay doors open and every vehicle was damaged with paint overspray.

When I arrived on the job, all of the cars looked like they had a heavy layer of dust on them.  This was not dust, it was industrial paint overspray.  Every unit was damaged from the top to the bottom.  These were not just ordinary old school rides, lots of them were  very rare low number cars with original paint.   30% of these vehicles had lacquer paint because of their age.  Clear-coat was never heard of in the 20s and 30s just old school rub it out lacquer.  The second group of vintage and muscle cars were damaged while at the POCI convention in Tulsa at the Crowne Plaza.  For three days while the vehicles were on display, a paint crew on top of the building next door sprayed away.  The crazy thing about it was, this was done thru the weekend.  This would have been a great time to take off work and enjoy the car show below you.

The insurer of the paint company was about to pay hundreds of claimants thousands of dollars for complete paint jobs. The insurer payed for five vehicles to be repainted at an average cost of 18,000 dollars before calling us to do the repairs.  I drove to Tulsa to demonstrate my cleaning process to 150 members at the convention hall.  I used Auto Magic clay bar for 80% of the vehicles, but some of them were so badly damaged that I  had to used my blading technique.  I used a single edged carbon  tipped razor blade while the owners observed my process to repair their vehicle.  The only other way to remove this much industrial paint overspray 100% would be to wet-sand their vehicles.  The problem with that is, it would have greatly diminish the clear-coats on some and most definitely the lacquer paint jobs.  This would have effected the overall worth of a vehicle.

I traveled over 40 thousands miles all over the United States and beyond to repair these vehicles onsite.  This was an international event with rides from all the way back to 1911 to 2008.  I met some very cool people along the way and seen lots beautiful places that I would have never experienced if not repairing ever vehicle onsite.  The total number of vehicles repaired on both claims is 452.  They all are great examples of American engineering at its best.  http://www.paintoversprayremovaloftexas.com/muscle-car-repairs

My name is Jeff Suggs owner and operator of Paint Overspray Removal of Texas International Services.  We are experts in overspray removal and claims management.  With over 23 years of hands on experience in overspray removal, managing claims, customer relations, bidding on jobs and much more.  The first thing to think about when discussing an overspray problem with an insurer is to let them know that your going to save them thousands by repairing every piece of the vehicle.  When it comes to all parties involved, you want to assure them that they are in good hands.  We do this by showing them some of our demonstration videos.  Another great way to gain the confidence of an insurance adjuster or claimants is to direct them to the internet.  We are heavily embedded on the internet. Simply Google “paint overspray removal companies” then hit videos & web.

When our customers see our demonstration videos and web presence, It lets them know that they are in very capable hands.  We have came up with several methods of overspray removal from auto paint, glass, trim, and molding pieces.   Paint Overspray Removal of Texas is one of the few if any that removes overspray from auto trim pieces.  Other major companies try to repaint these parts which voids the owner’s vehicle warranty.  When bidding on a large claim, we always tell the insurer to check other companies websites to see what types of services they offer.   You may wonder why would anyone tell an insurance company to go and check other companies websites.  The answer to that is, no other company in the world can offer our services.  Those are not just words, we have the videos streaming all over the net to prove it.

We believe that showing someone your work is much better than telling them about it.  If given the choice most people would want to see your work before you start on their vehicle.  We also believe that your work is “only as good as your last job”  This is why we always make sure the videos on our website are of new vehicles.  Everyone is well aware of how much work is involved in repairing black vehicles.   This is why we have lots of black high-end vehicles on our website.  We repair every pieces of the vehicle from all damages even if its not related to the overspray claim.  Its all about building confidence with the insurer and most of all the claimants.  When dealing with someone that has an overspray problem, you have to let them know without a doubt their in good hands.  Our company website for everything under the sun about paint overspray removal and claims management.  http://www.paintoversprayremovaloftexas.com/
